A black bear tried to make its way into Barton Memorial Hospital in South Lake Tahoe last week, but was turned away at the door.
Actually, he was turned away by the door –– the automatic open-and-shut seemed to spook the woodland creature.
In video seen here, hospital workers frantically dial for help –– assumedly the park ranger on call –– but the bear leaves on his own.
After hanging out for a little bit in front of the building, the bear eventually decided to move along.
