East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - New Jersey Netsforward Eduardo Najera underwent successful surgery to repair a sports hernia on Friday.
Najera, 32, will miss the remainder of the season after logging 2.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 27 games this year, his first in New Jersey.
The nine-year veteran has career averages of 5.3 points and 4.0 rebounds in 520 career games with the Mavericks, Warriors, Nuggets and Nets.
