Balanced Knicks Offense Dooms Toronto's Playoff Bid

New York avenges Saturday loss to Raptors

Wilson Chandler led seven Knicks in double figures as visiting New York got a small measure of revenge against the Toronto Raptors Sunday.

In the first game of a home-and-home series between the teams, Toronto eliminated the Knicks from playoff contention Saturday at Madison Square Garden.

And Sunday, the Knicks returned the favor with a 112-103 win that had the Raptors thinking about April tee times.

Chandler had 17 points, David Lee and Quentin Richardson each scored 16, Jared Jeffries added 14 and Nate Robinson 13 for the Knicks, winners in Toronto for the first time since 2004. Lee also had 10 rebounds.

Toronto star Chris Bosh had 31 points and 14 rebounds.

The difference in the game was perimeter shooting. New York was 13-of-25 from beyond the arc (52 percent), while the Raptors were just four-of-13 (31 percent).

The Knicks, who snapped a four-game losing streak, play Tuesday at Chicago, then return home Wednesday to take on Detroit.
