A 2-year-old boy's body was found Thursday after he was swept out of his father's arms and down a rain-swollen Oklahoma creek on Wednesday night as the family tried to flee rising waters caused by the remnants Tropical Storm Bill, NBC News reported. Officials said that at around 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jeremiah Meyer's the father attempted to cross Hickory Creek when rapidly rising water overtook, sending the two downstream. Meyer's father lost contact with his son, police said. Ardmore firefighters confirmed they found Jeremiah body at about 2:40 p.m., approximately 150 feet from where he went missing.
