Burglary Suspect Uses Drive-Thru Window to Steal Food, Cash

    Maryland police are searching for a women who was caught on surveillance video breaking into a McDonald's by climbing through a drive-thru window. (Published Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017)

    Police in Howard County, Maryland, are searching for a woman who was caught on camera climbing through a McDonald's drive-thru window and stealing food and money.

    The woman pulled up to the drive-thru window at the McDonald's on the 8300 block of Benson Drive in Columbia on Nov. 5 at 1 a.m. 

    Surveillance video shows the woman reaching through the window, grabbing a cup and pouring herself a beverage. Moments later, she climbs through the window and walks around the kitchen of the restaurant. 

    The suspect then passes a large box of items through the window to someone waiting outside. 

    Police say the woman took food and cash from the fast-food restaurant.

    A reward of up to $500 is being offered for information in this case. Anyone who can help police identify the woman is asked to call 410-313-7867.
