Police are asking for help finding the person who stabbed a single mother to death in a parking lot.
Yanira Estella Canjura Martinez, was walking in Glen Cove to pick up her 5-year-old daughter when she was stabbed on the afternoon of March 23, Nassau County police say.
Martinez, 32, had been walking south on Pearsall Avenue when she was assaulted in the rear of 221 Glen Street, police say.
Police asking for help Wednesday finding a male suspect. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
