A New York City taxi driver has returned the coveted wedding gifts that a newlywed couple had left behind in his cab.
Cab driver Haron ur Rashid had returned the gifts to the doorman of the couple's new apartment building -- even as officials on Tuesday used GPS technology to try to figure out which taxi might have the wedding gifts in its trunk.
The couple -- David Fitzhenry and Christine Herrick -- were married Saturday. They nearly canceled their honeymoon in Mexico after realizing they had left all the gifts in a cab early Sunday.
Rashid's good deed was discovered Tuesday evening when a relative of the groom stopped a taxi with the telltale Pepsi ad on its roof, like the one where the gifts were left behind -- and found Rashid driving it.
