A midtown bank building was briefly evacuated Wednesday after a suspicious package was detected that later turned out to be camera equipment.
The building at 1 Madison Avenue was evacuated around noon and people were let in about 20 minutes later.
The package was detected in the mailroom at Credit Suisse.
