1 Suspect Arrested, Another Wanted in Bronx Bodega Stun Gun Robbery: NYPD

Police have arrested one of the two suspects wanted in Bronx bodega robbery in which a stun gun was used on the store's clerk last month.

Manuel Pacheco, 34, of the Bronx, has been arrested and charged in the July 18 robbery, police said. Authorities are now searching for the second suspect, 32-year-old Jason Mangum, pictured above from a mugshot in a 2014 arrest on a marijuana possession charge in the Bronx.

Surveillance video released by NYPD last month showed one of the men entering the bodega on Anthony Avenue in Mount Hope just before midnight and attacking the clerk.

As he and the clerk struggled behind the counter, a second suspect walked into the store and took an unknown amount of cash from the register, police said. The two men then fled.

Pacheco was identified from a tip to the Crime Stopper line at 800-577-TIPS, police said. Anyone with information on Mangum is asked to call the same number.
