The skydiver who died in Massachusetts after she struck a barn last weekend has been identified as a 27-year-old woman from Long Island.
A spokeswoman for the Northwestern district attorney on Wednesday identified the woman as Alexis Zays, though it wasn't clear where on Long Island she lived.
Investigators had said Zays "veered off course" before hitting the barn in Orange on Saturday.
She was taken to Athol Hospital before being transferred to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester where she died Monday.
Jumptown Skydiving, which is based in Orange, had no comment.
The death remains under investigation.
