Chris Cornell is giving the term “buzzworthy” a new edge.
The former Soundgarden and Audioslave singer cut one of his guitarists' hair on stage during a show in New York City Wednesday.
The guitar player, leaning back in a chair, kept playing an extended solo to the song “Reach Down” while Cornell took electric clippers to his shoulder-length hair at Manhattan's Webster Hall.
As he finished the somewhat choppy cut, Cornell said, “I like it. Take two days, and it'll look great.”
Cornell is touring following the March 10 release of his latest solo album, “Scream.”
