Westchester County saw a significant upset for county executive.
Republican Rob Astorino conceded late Tuesday to Democratic State Sen. George Latimer.
The latest numbers give Latimer a 14-point lead over Astorino, the two-term incumbent.
With 81 percent of precincts reporting, Latimer has received 98,494 votes to Astorino's 73,519 votes.
Meanwhile, in Nassau County a race for county executive was a nail-bitter but it was Democrat Laura Curran claiming victory over Republican Jack Martins. Martins, however, has not conceded.
