Police Car Nearly Struck by Car in Road Rage Incident in New Jersey

A police car was almost struck by another driver in an apparent road rage incident in Hackettstown, New Jersey, dramatic dash cam video shows. 

A police officer was traveling north on Grand Avenue Monday afternoon when another vehicle coming from the opposite direction crossed a double yellow line and nearly sideswiped the police vehicle, police said. 

Dash cam video shows that while the Honda was attempting to pass the other car, it also came close to hitting two other cars traveling north, police said.

Terrylyn Fulper, 58, of Mansfield Township, of the Honda, was stopped by police and issued summonses for careless driving, improper passing and failure to inspect.

Fulper told officers she wanted to get alongside the other car to tell the driver to pull over and discuss a road rage incident that occurred earlier, police said.
