A 20-year-old woman was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run on a New Jersey roadway Tuesday evening, police say.
Police said the woman was hit by a vehicle near a Toys 'R Us store on Route 17 in Paramus at about 8 p.m.
The vehicle did not stop.
The victim was taken to Hackensack Medical Center, where she was listed in serious but stable condition.
