The NYPD is searching for the man who stole a woman's purse on the Upper West Side.
A 24-year-old woman was walking in a vestibule around 3:15 a.m. on July 26, when a man came up from behind her and tried to grab her purse, video surveillance shows.
The woman falls to the floor and struggles with the man as he tries to take hold of the purse. He eventually snatches it from her and runs away through a nearby door.
The purse was later found with all of the woman's contents intact, police said.
