A man followed a 9-year-old girl onto an elevator, where he cornered and groped her, police say.
The girl was on an elevator at an apartment building in Williamsbridge Monday night when the sexual predator attacked.
Police say he tried to pull her closer to him, but she pushed him away. He then allegedly leaned over and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
When the elevator doors opened, the man blocked the girl from exiting and groped her, according to police. He then ran away.
The NYPD released a sketch of the man Wednesday night. He is believed to be between 18 and 25 years old.
