At least 12 people were hurt when a vehicle and an NJ Transit light rail car collided in Jersey City on Thursday evening, authorities said.

The vehicle and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail car crashed around 10:35 p.m. at Hudson and Grand streets, according to the Jersey City Police Department.

All of the injuries were minor, police said. The driver of the vehicle was among those injured.

It’s unclear what caused the crash, and an investigation was ongoing Thursday night.
