Police are looking for a man who punched a 16-year-old girl and stole a gold chain from her neck on the subway in Brooklyn on Tuesday.
The robbery happened around 11:30 a.m. as the southbound 3 train was stopping at Utica Avenue, the NYPD said.
The man allegedly punched the girl in the back and yanked the chain from her neck, then ran off the train. The girl refused medical attention.
Police released surveillance photos of the suspect, who they say is between 20 to 25 years old and between 6’1” and 6’3”. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
