Long Island Man Charged with Shooting 3 Brothers, 1 Fatally: Police

A 38-year-old Long Island man was charged Sunday with murder and assault in connection with a fight outside a Masonic lodge that left a Missouri man fatally shot and two of his brothers wounded, police said.

Jakyma Bunn, of North Amityville, was charged with second-degree murder, two counts of second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon, Suffolk County police said.

Louis Wilson, 44, of Kansas City, was killed in the 2 a.m. incident Saturday outside the Hollywood Masonic Lodge on Coolidge Street in North Amityville, investigators said. Two of his brothers, Shaun Wilson, 37, and Junious Wilson, 38, both of North Amityville, were wounded and taken to an area hospital. Information about their conditions was unavailable.

Bunn was treated for injuries and released to police custody.

According to initial reports, the shootings may have occurred after a party spilled out onto the street.
