1. Young Mom Holding Baby in Stroller Dies in Subway Stair Fall
A young mother from Connecticut died when she plunged down the stairs at a subway station in Manhattan while holding her 1-year-old girl in her stroller, authorities say.
Malaysia Goodson, 22, of Stamford, was found unconscious on the southbound platform inside the Seventh Avenue B D E station subway station in midtown at around 8 p.m. Monday, police said.
She was pronounced dead at a hospital.

2. 'Empire' Star Jussie Smollett Attacked in Possible Hate Crime: Police
An actor from the hit television show "Empire" was beaten in what police are investigating as a "possible racially-charged assault and battery" in Chicago, authorities said.
The 36-year-old man was walking in the 300 block of North Lower Water Street when police say two people approached him and began yelling "racial and homophobic slurs."
The identity of the cast member involved in the attack was not immediately released by police, but a friend close to the Smollett family, who has been in touch with relatives, told NBC News that Jussie Smollett was the victim.

3. Apple FaceTime Bug Lets You Hear People Who Haven't Answered
There's a FaceTime bug that lets you hear through someone else's iPhone, even if they haven't answered your phone call. It was previously reported on Twitter by user Benji Mobb and covered by 9to5Mac.
CNBC tested it and verified that it's a real bug. I tried placing a video call to my editor from my iPhone using Apple's FaceTime app.
hen, before he picked up, I used the menu option to add somebody else to the call and, as 9to5Mac's directions state, I added myself to the call.
