1. Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lights Up for Holiday Season

The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree burst alive with 5 miles of LED multicolored lights and a 900-pound Swarovski crystal star in a festive extravaganza broadcast on NBC.

Mayor de Blasio flipped the switch to light the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree following a televised extravaganza that featured performances by Diana Ross and Tony Bennett.

Police officers flooded the area and thousands of spectators were funneled through security screening.

2. NJ Town Threatens to Shut Down Christmas Light Display

A New Jersey man is going head-to-head with town officials over his massive Christmas light display.

Old Bridge officials have told Tom Apruzzi and his wife, Kris, that they will have to pay $2,000 a night for security at their light show or the town will shut it down.

The Apruzzis have been putting on the display at their home for 15 years, which includes more than 70,000 lights synchronized to music.

3. The 'Fearless Girl' Has Left Wall Street, Is on the Move to NYSE

The "Fearless Girl" is on the move.

The statue that inspired millions with her message of female empowerment has been plucked from her spot opposite Wall Street's "Charging Bull" and will be reinstalled in front of the New York Stock Exchange by the end of the year, officials said.

The Boston-based financial services firm State Street Global Advisors said the sculpture of a defiant-looking young girl was moved and there is no date for her reinstallation at the stock exchange was given.
