1. Trump's Walk of Fame Star Smashed to Pieces by Pickax

President Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was destroyed by a man with a pickax that witnesses say he concealed in a guitar case, police said.

Officers found a small pile of rubble in place of the star that Trump received in January 2007 for his role in the NBC show "The Apprentice."

The star-smashing suspect, who reported the crime to police, later turned himself in to Beverly Hills police after leaving the pickax at the scene, according to police.

The suspect was identified as Austin Clay, 24, who was booked on suspicion of felony vandalism. Trump has not commented.

2. April the Giraffe Is Pregnant Again -- And Yes, Oliver Is the Father

April the Giraffe, the long-necked, spotted beauty from New York's Animal Adventure Park who captivated the globe for months as she prepared for the birth of her fourth calf last year, is pregnant again.

And yes, Oliver is the father.

And now the waiting begins. Patch says she's expected to give birth to her fifth calf next March or April.

Her newest calf, Tajiri, celebrated his first birthday in April, and nearly 50,000 people tuned into a livestream to watch him celebrate.
