Police say a car smashed head-on into a limousine leaving a wedding reception on Long Island, leaving six people injured.
Authorities say the crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in Melville when the driver of a Mercedes crossed into the opposite lane and struck the limo.
The driver of the Mercedes fled the scene and was picked up by another driver in a dark-colored sedan. That driver hasn't been seen since.
Police say the five limo passengers and its driver have been hospitalized for non life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
