A woman was seriously injured when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Brooklyn Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
According to police, the woman was walking near Union Street and Fourth Avenue in Gowanus just after 12:30 p.m. when she was hit by a black Hyundai. The driver fled the scene.
The woman taken to a hospital in critical condition.
