Car Hits NJ Parkway Toll Plaza, Bursts Into Flames

Traffic is moving slowly now for about two miles leading to the plaza in Saddle Brook

New Jersey highway officials say three northbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway at the Bergen Toll Plaza are closed after a car hit the toll plaza abutment and burst into flames.

Turnpike Authority spokesman Tom Feeney says the fire damaged the booths in two lanes and the canopy of a third.
 
Traffic is moving slowly now for about two miles leading to the plaza in Saddle Brook.
 
Feeney says no injuries have been reported. There is no word yet on the cause of the accident.
 
The crash occurred at about 3:45 p.m.
