Fire ravaged a recreation center Saturday night in a New York City suburb, authorities said.
The 8:45 p.m. fire caused major damage to the main building of the rec center in the village of Briarcliff Manor, but firefighters prevented the blaze from spreading to the adjacent library and swimming pool.
The fire was under control by 9:30 p.m., officials said. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Briarcliff Manor is located in Westchester County, about 30 miles north of New York City.
