An accident involving two tractor-trailers blocked two lanes on the George Washington Bridge Monday morning, causing delays of up to 90 minutes.
The delays affecting the inbound upper level of the bridge were at 90 minutes from the New Jersey Turnpike to the tolls at 8.30 a.m., Total Traffic said. The inbound lower level of the bridge also saw delays of about 25 minutes.
Total Traffic said the accident involved two tractor trailers.
One was carrying bricks, some of which were thrown onto the roadway.
By 9 a.m. the accident had been cleared, but traffic cameras were still showing delays.
