A man and woman suspected in a dine and dash on Long Island hit a restaurant employee with their car as they were trying to get away, police say.
The man and woman allegedly racked up an $80 bill at the Coram Diner in Coram last month and left without paying.
An employee who noticed they hadn’t paid followed them out of the restaurant and stood in front of their car to try and stop them.
Police say the suspects drove the car forward into the employee, who held onto the car’s hood. The suspects drove out of the parking lot and the employee slid off the car and suffered minor injuries.
Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
