Operators of a hookah joint on the Lower East Side served alcohol to minors and even provided them an upstairs loft for sexual encounters, police said in a story in Monday's New York Post.
Hade Bade, at First Avenue and Second Street, was busted last week after a police raid found 20 underage drinkers boozing openly, according to the report.
"They were just plain gutsy," a police source told the Post. "These kids were walking around like it was nothing."
One menu item called "The First Date" read more like the five-point plan offered up by Mike Damone in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High." For $65, a teen boy could get four drinks for himself and his date, as well as hummus, pita and the hookah.
"Get her drunk and pay extra to go upstairs" to a private VIP area, the menu read, according to the Post.
