A car somehow ended up in the Raritan River in Edison, New Jersey, early Tuesday, though it wasn't immediately clear if anyone was inside.
Chopper 4 showed a significant emergency response at the scene, near a boat ramp, by 7:30 a.m. The back window of the car appeared to have been removed.
Two officers were on a flotation device while four other responders stood on the dock.
The investigation is ongoing.
