A bullet flew through the cafeteria window of a day care center in New Jersey while children were having lunch, officials say.
It happened at the One Step Ahead Learning Center in East Orange at around 11:30 a.m., according the a spokesman for the East Orange mayor's office.
No one was hurt.
Parents were shaken after being notified of the incident. But Mother Leslie Brown said she eventually felt reassured after speaking to staff at the day care center and getting answers. She plans to bring her child to day care as usual Friday.
Police are investigating.
