A 21-year-old woman was found dead in a dorm hallway at Columbia University Sunday morning, authorities said.
The woman was found unconscious and face up on the floor. Law enforcement sources say it appears her death was caused by either alcohol or drugs.
The sources say she was visiting a friend and was not a student at the school.
Her identity has yet to be released.
An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death.
