The Fire Department says two pedestrians were taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition after a taxi accident in midtown Manhattan.
The accident occurred around 1:15 p.m. at 43rd Street and Third Avenue. The taxi apparently jumped a curb outside a pharmacy before hitting the pedestrians on the sidewalk.
The FDNY said one patient is a man in his 50s. The other patient's gender and age were not immediately available.
