Swastikas Scrawled on Traffic Signs on Long Island

One sign had the word "death" scrawled across a swastika

Police on Long Island are investigating after swastikas were found scrawled on two traffic signs in Roslyn Heights.

Nassau County police were alerted to the graffiti by a woman taking a walk Saturday morning.

According to Newsday,
one sign had the word "death" written in black marker over the swastikas. Another swastika was drawn in black marker on another sign.

Police are investigating it as a bias crime.
