Robbers Barge Into NYC T-Mobile, Force Cane-Carrying Customer to Ground

Police are looking for the pair of gun-toting robbers who stole 40 phones and $1,500 cash from a T-Mobile in Manhattan over the weekend and forced a customer who used a cane to the ground in the process.

Surveillance footage of the robbery at the store on First Avenue in Stuyvesant Town on Sunday shows the suspects barging into the store with guns drawn.

The bandits can then be seen ordering the store's two employees and the cane-carrying customer into a back room. Once there, they made one employee and the customer get on all fours while the other employee loaded up a black bag with iPhones, Samsung Galaxy devices and cash.

Workers at the store told NBC 4 New York they even stole dimes from the safe.

"I just did what he told me and hoped for the best," said one of the workers in the store at the time.

After the robbery, the men can be seen walking out of the store.

Anyone with information on the robbers is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
