Police say the death of a 7-month-old Staten Island infant in January has been deemed a homicide.
Dameen Mohammed was pronounced dead at NYU Lutheran Medical Center on January 7 after his 25-year-old mother brought him there, reporting that ht was unconscious and unresponsive.
The medical examiner said Monday the death was determined a homicide but it's still not clear how he was killed.
An arrest has not been made, police said.
