Leading GOP Mayoral Contenders to Debate on NBC 4 NY

John Catsimatidis and Joe Lhota face off at 11:30 a.m.

The leading contenders seeking the Republican nomination for New York City mayor are set to debate one last time before next week's primary in a faceoff airing on NBC 4 New York Sunday.

Billionaire John Catsimatidis and former MTA Chairman Joe Lhota will debate for 90 minutes beginning at 11:30 a.m. The entire debate will be broadcast online at NBCNewYork.com and you can join in the conversation on Twitter using #NYC2013.

The top contenders for the Democratic nomination sparred in a lively debate on NBC 4 New York last Tuesday. Like the Democrats, the Republican candidates will have the chance to ask each other questions during Sunday's event.

The official debate series is administered by the New York City Campaign Finance Board. NBC 4 New York, The Wall Street Journal and Telemundo Nueva York are sponsors.

NBC 4 New York is also sponsoring and airing the final general election mayoral debate at 7 p.m. on Oct. 29.
