NYPD Ticket-Fixing Probe Expands to Other Agencies

The probe so far has resulted in the indictment of 16 police officers

The NYPD ticket-fixing probe has expanded to seven local and federal police agencies.

The Bronx District Attorney's office said Thursday it had become aware of "questionable conduct'' by officers from seven other police agencies.

However, it said nothing amounted to the level of the alleged misconduct for which NYPD officers have been indicted in the Bronx.

The office declined to provide further details.

The probe so far has resulted in the indictment of 16 police officers. About 300 other officers will be disciplined by the NYPD.
