NYC Dedicates Vigils, Prayer Services to Paris Victims

New York City continued to mourn the victims of the Paris attacks and show solidarity with the French nation Sunday in vigils, rallies and religious services throughout the area.

Candles, flowers and well-wishes accumulated outside the French Consulate on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

In the Carroll Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn, New Yorkers gathered for a march and interfaith vigil.

Churches across the city dedicated their services to the victims and survivors of the Paris attacks.

Hundreds attended a morning Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral offered for the victims of the massacre.

At Madison Square Garden on Sunday, fans attending the New York Knicks game rose for a moment of silence as the colors of the French flag were displayed on the court.

The Empire State Building, which went dark at 10 p.m. Friday and remained dark on Saturday, restored its illumination Sunday.
