The injured dog that chased a burglar from his owner’s home before disappearing has been found.
Kola, a black pit bull mix, chased away a burglar who had climbed in a side window of owner Mitch Rosen’s home in New City on Tuesday. The dog ran out of the house and didn’t return to the house.
The one-year-old protective pooch was found tied to a pole outside a Costco store in New Jersey on Wednesday, Rosen told the Journal News. Rosen and his wife rescued Kola from a shelter seven months ago.
