Men Stole $5K, Lottery Tickets From Queens Deli: NYPD

Police are looking for two men who stole $5,000 from a Queens deli Sunday in an armed robbery that was caught on surveillance tape.

The men entered the deli on Flushing Avenue in Maspeth around 11 p.m. and took out their firearms, the NYPD said.

They took a Samsung cellphone and a wallet containing $100 in cash from a 38-year-old man, and an iPhone and wallet containing $300 in cash and debit cards from a 35-year-old man, police said.

They also took $5,000 from the deli’s register along with 10 lottery tickets.

Police released surveillance video of the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
