200 Marijuana Plants Seized in Raid on New York Home: Police

Two hundred marijuana plants and more than 30 five-gallon buckets containing pot seeds were seized in a raid on a New York home Tuesday, authorities said.

Clarkstown police executed a search warrant on the unoccupied house on Thomas Court in Valley Cottage early Tuesday after an investigation revealed the building might be a pot growing facility.

Officers had to wear special respiratory gear because of the volume of pot plants.

The value of the seizure wasn't known and it wasn't clear if anyone had been arrested.
