A 20-year-old man was slashed in the back of the neck after a fight broke out in Times Square early Friday, police said.
The incident took place at 44th street and 7th avenue just after midnight. The man is now in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital, but it remains unclear who is responsible for the attack.
Six people were taken to the local precinct and police said they are trying to sort out who was responsible and who will be charged.
The victim has not been identified.
