Police say they've arrested a man accused of stabbing a 24-year-old man following an argument over a bus seat last week on Staten Island.

The victim was on the S74 bus near Broad and Canal streets in Stapleton shortly before 2 p.m. when he got into a fight with a woman, the NYPD said.

The suspect, who police identified as 19-year-old Franklin Bethea, then stabbed the unidentified victim in the torso, hand, hip and shoulder.

Bethea ran off the bus with the three women, according to police

The victim was taken to Richmond University Hospital in critical condition.
