Police have arrested a man in a 22-year-old Bronx cold case, authorities said.
The 46-year-old has been arrested on a murder charge more than two decades after 21-year-old Michelle Page was found in the hallway of her Morris Avenue apartment with a scarf wrapped around her throat and a knife sticking out of her neck, the NYPD said.
The NYPD's Cold Case and Apprehension Squad sent in old evidence for DNA testing and came up with a match. They located the 46-year-old, a Brooklyn resident who had a child with the victim, in Carmel and arrested him on a charge of second-degree murder.
It was unclear if the man had a lawyer.
