Rider Accused of Attacking NJ Transit Bus Driver

A 28-year-old New Jersey man has been arrested for allegedly attacking an NJ Transit bus driver after being told to leave the vehicle early Tuesday.

Authorities say Rosiland Grace, of Paterson, had been asked to leave the bus near Route 46 West and North Savoie Street because he was being disruptive and abusing the driver and other passengers.

When the driver asked him to get off, Grace allegedly attacked the driver. He fled the bus and was taken into custody a short time later.

Grace was sent to Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail after being charged with aggravated assault on a bus driver. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney who could comment on the allegations.
