Girl Scouts Selling Cookies in 1-Day Sale at Some Manhattan Offices

Attention, sweet-toothed New Yorkers: if you're not still in sugar shock from Halloween candy, you may want to head to one of the following Manhattan office buildings on Tuesday to pick up a box of Girl Scout cookies in a special one-day sale.

The Girls Scouts of Greater New York's Corporate Connection Cookie program allows New York City Girl Scouts to set up a cookie-selling station in lobbies and cafeterias of participating coporations and businesses in Manhattan.

The one-day sale allows customers to buy the popular cookies over a month before the official start of the cookie sales season in December, and a full four months before troop table sales starts in March 2016.

The proceeds will stay in New York City to fund local Girl Scouting, and 65 cents per box will go directly to the seller's troop or group, the organization says.
