FBI, Police Renew Search for Fugitive Accused of Killing Wife in Dunkin' Donuts

Authorities are asking for help tracking down a man charged with killing his wife at the Dunkin' Donuts where they worked.

The FBI announced Friday that the U.S. Attorney's office has issued a federal warrant for Bhadreshkumar Patel for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. He's charged with murder in the slaying of his wife, 21-year-old Palak Patel, in a back room of the shop in Hanover, Maryland, in April.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to his arrest.

The FBI says Patel was last seen at a Newark, New Jersey, hotel on April 13 and relatives and friends in the New Jersey area may be helping him. There's no indication that Patel, who was born in India, left the country legally.
