Hector Meynard, 44, of Greenpoint, was arrested and charged with luring a child to commit a crime and endangering the welfare of a child on Friday, the NYPD said.

Police say the girl was walking near Willoughby Avenue and Saint Nicholas Avenue in Bushwick around 11 a.m. on March 9 when a person she didn’t know drove up in a grey 2014 Kia Sedona minivan and asked her to come up to his vehicle, police said.

When the girl approached, the driver said he’d give her $50 if she got into the van, according to police.
