Long Island Motorist Threw 5-Month-Old Puppy Out of Car Window: SPCA

Authorities on Long Island are looking for the motorist who was spotted throwing a 5-month-old puppy out of a car over the weekend.

The Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said that a woman in Uniondale saw the dark sedan slow down while heading down Bedford Avenue Saturday evening. Someone inside the car then chucked the female dog out of the window before the vehicle sped away.

"The Nassau County SPCA is disgusted with the callous behavior exhibited by this person or persons," the agency said in a statement.
